The growth of the company has continued and in October 2007, we  moved to new purpose built Headquarters in Peel Park, East Kilbride. We are now recruiting for the following positions:

HEAD OF TECHNICAL DESIGN

Salary: Negotiable

Full time experienced Technical Designer required for a varied and demanding role. Heading up and managing a small team, you will work closely with the creative design team.  The main responsibilities of the role include –

 Fitting  and Grading garments
 Training the team on fitting / grading / patterns / foam cup developments
 Assessing all fabric test reports and any fabric queries
 Overseeing all technical and QC issues
 Working closely with the Managing Director and Head of Creative Design
 Assisting the design team with fit, shapes and patterns
 Implementing new/improving existing procedures
 Communicating with overseas development team
 Ensuring deadlines are met.

The suitable candidate requires to have extensive lingerie technical experience, and a very ‘hands on’ approach to their work.  You must be a ‘team player’ with the ability to ‘multi-task’.  A good working knowledge of Word & Excel is essential, as is experience of pattern grading using Gerber Accumark System.

ECOMMERCE MARKETING MANAGER

Job responsibilities would be very broad including:

• Development and enhancement of our websites
• Responsibility for driving traffic to our websites
• Support the promotion of all of our brands using eMarketing techniques
• Introduce initiatives to improve customer experience and satisfaction
• Measure and report on website visits, trends and usage
• Manage the development of the online catalogue as the ecommerce channel expands
• Ensure the product information presented online is accurate, up-to-date and represents the products to allow customers to make informed purchasing decisions. Correct any errors or inconsistencies.
• Upload the product catalogue database to ecommerce store in a managed and consistent process to maintain accuracy and presentation standards

 Applicants will have qualifications and experience in most of the following areas:

• Search Engine Optimisation
• Affiliate Marketing
• Shopping Comparison
• Pay Per Click Advertising
• Online Retail Product Marketing
• Knowledge of web legislation and standards e.g. usability and accessibility

Essential:

The successful applicant will have at least 3 years relevant experience. Excellent English skills and a strong demonstrable knowledge of fashion, on and offline, along with insight of creative web ecommerce technologies and how they are applied in the current market. A positive, can do attitude to work and getting things done.

STORE CONSULTANTS (Part Time & Full Time positions available)

Salary: Negotiable

Location: Various locations throughout the UK

Due to our rapid expansion of Ultimo shops within Debenhams Departments stores, a number of fantastic opportunities have arisen for conscientious Store Consultants to become part of the Ultimo and Debenhams team.  Ideally the candidate will have lingerie retail sales experience, be bra fit trained and accustomed to advising customers about products.  However this is not essential if other key attributes are apparent.

Responsibilities and key attributes required:

Maintaining the presentation of stock within the Ultimo shop.
Stock replenishment.
Proactive selling.
Completing weekly reports and submiting on time.
Organising work, planning and prioritising tasks as appropritate to ensure objectives are achieved.
Maintaining a positive outlook, working on own initiative and demonstrating a committed and flexible approach.
Demonstrate an awareness of Ultimo brand, competitor activity, proposing ideas and suggestions for improvements and supporting marketing activity.

To enjoy interacting confidently with the general public.
