RETAIL RELATIONSHIP MANAGER
Salary: dependent on experience – circa £30k per annum

Reporting To –  Directors

• Create and implement retail strategy.
• Prepare store visit plan every 6 weeks, with up to 4 days per week spent visiting stores.
• Attend regular Debenhams Head Office meetings.
• Prepare monthly report, and on occasion present to Board of MJM and external customers as required.
• Prepare for and Co-chair weekly manager’s conference call with Debenhams representative.
• Monitor and analyse weekly sales figures.
• Drive sales improvements in store through store managers, visual managers, lingerie managers, consultants and personal shoppers.
• Complete store visit reports and action any issues and push through until complete.
• Ensure any issues raised on consultants weekly reports are full investigated and actioned.  Report on same to be passed to MJM Directors.
• Liaise with Debenhams HR re recruitment/removal of consultants
  - Meet new consultants to ensure they are suitable for the role.
  - Feedback to Debenhams HR relevant performance issues.
• Training and development of new stores
• Drive ongoing training for staff at all levels.
• Identify and action marketing and PR opportunities.
• Build relationships with Debenhams personnel at all levels.
• Network with retail partners in ‘shopping centres’ and other localised contacts re growing Ultimo participation and brand awareness.
• Research and identify potential for Ultimo within relevant retail groups.
• Set up internal system to assist with merchandising process.
• Other Ad hoc tasks as required.

TECHNICAL DESIGNER
Salary: dependant on experience

The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of technical and quality, through fit, sealing and approvals. Liasing with offshore manufacturing, creating specifications, size charts and technical packs, updating comments and dealing with technical and quality issues. Will need an understanding of garment construction and manufacturing techniques. Knowledge of Gerber/lectra system an advantage.

Responsibilities will include:

• Liase and support the factories to ensure sampling and production are to accurate specification
• Identify and communicate changes of fit or pattern to all relevant parties
• Development of technical packs
• Update internal systems
• Support design team to ensure concepts are fit for purpose

LINGERIE, SWIMWEAR & NIGHTWEAR DESIGNERS
Salary: dependant on experience

Applicants must have at least two years design experience and have extensive knowledge of the lingerie industry. You must have excellent communication skills and be used to working under pressure and to tight deadlines. International travel will be necessary, and previous experience dealing with overseas factories would be advantageous.


STORE CONSULTANTS (Part Time & Full Time positions available)
Salary: Negotiable

Location: Various locations throughout the UK.

Due to our rapid expansion of Ultimo shops within Debenhams Departments stores, a number of fantastic opportunities have arisen for conscientious Store Consultants to become part of the Ultimo and Debenhams team. Ideally the candidate will have lingerie retail sales experience, be bra fit trained and accustomed to advising customers about products. However this is not essential if other key attributes are apparent.

Responsibilities and key attributes required:

• Maintaining the presentation of stock within the Ultimo shop.
• Stock replenishment.
• Proactive selling.
• Completing weekly reports and submiting on time.
• Organising work, planning and prioritising tasks as appropritate to ensure objectives are achieved.
• Maintaining a positive outlook, working on own initiative and demonstrating a committed and flexible approach.
• Demonstrate an awareness of Ultimo brand, competitor activity, proposing ideas and suggestions for improvements and supporting marketing activity.
• To be extremely customer focused.
• To enjoy interacting confidently with the general public.
